Much like Roman Forums, we hope our sofa will be the focal point of gathering in your home. This sofa's design was inspired by the Italian Market Forum of Trajan. The form of the channels of the frame on either side of this sofa, and the channel stitching on the cushions comes from the channels to the right and left seen on the plans of the Roman Forum Marketplace. 

The Roman Forum became a center for day-to-day life in Rome. It has been one of the most celebrated meeting places in the world. In modern-day society, especially home life; our most celebrated room of meeting is our living room. Much like the forum, living rooms have developed gradually and organically from drawing rooms and formal sitting rooms into more social and casual rooms of relaxation.
