The Artichoke Chair marks a great symbol of love, whether for one's blood family or chosen family. The artichoke is an ancient plant that has a long symbolic heritage of peace. At the center of this ancient plant lays its heart which brings about hope and in many cultures a prosperous future and hope for future love. With this knowledge we found it fitting to introduce this ancient symbol into a dining chair. Dining is a very special, yet undervalued activity of humanity. It's where we have many conversations with loved ones, deep and real or shallow and silly.
