The Forum Coffee Table has a frosted glass top that is hand-painted and compliments the custom frosted lucite block legs. This table's design was inspired by the Italian Market Forum of Trajan. Much like the channels seen in the Forum's marketplace—we have our frosted lucite blocks running through oak sphere channels. One of the main focal points of the function of this coffee table is the hand-painted frosted glass ring around the perimeter of the table. This glass ring is meant to act as a drink coaster. 

The Roman Forum became a center for day-to-day life in Rome. It has been one of the most celebrated meeting places in the world. In modern-day society, especially home life; our most celebrated room of meeting is our living room. Much like the forum, living rooms have developed gradually and organically from drawing rooms and formal sitting rooms into more social and casual rooms of relaxation.
